The Hervey Bay Pickleball Club would like to sincerely thank the Fraser Coast Regional Council for their generous support through their recent grant and thanks to this funding, we’ve been able to make some fantastic improvements to our playing environment—benefiting both our members and visitors.
✅ What the grant helped us achieve. Installed durable, park-style seating that is comfortable and built to last. Purchased a large commercial grade “Big Brolly” umbrella. Created a significant new shaded area for players and spectators.
🌊 Built for our coastal conditions. The new seating is tough and low maintenance and the umbrella has a high wind rating, making it ideal for Hervey Bay’s environment
💬 Making a real difference. Players are already enjoying the new space and the added shade and seating have improved comfort during games and social time.

We also want to acknowledge the Council’s flexibility and understanding throughout the process. This allowed us the time to carefully choose the best and most durable solutions for our Club.
